As a life coach, I have had the privilege of working with individuals all over the world from Canada, Venezuela, South Africa, China, Qatar, India, Ireland, Turkey, Italy, Australia and all over the U.S. to mention some. And while their backgrounds, culture and walks of life are so different – they all seem to have two things in common:

  1. They were either raised in a dysfunctional household that created within them many features of Complex PTSD: emotional flashbacks, fear of abandonment, self abandonment, people pleasing, lack of boundaries, inability to say no, lack of self-love, lack of self-identity, toxic shame, harsh inner critic, etc. These side effects of an early dysfunctional family often lead them into relationships with intimate, significant others that replicated the same emotional, psychological abuse that they endured in childhood.
  2. They struggle with self-sabotage. While on a conscious level they WANT to be happy, they WANT to have a healthy self-love, they WANT to release fear of rejection(or abandonment, judgement). While they WANT to let the past go, to move forward, to be successful and to build and maintain healthy relationships – they find themselves in a loop – they begin healing, they begin changing and then BAM something happens that puts them right back where they were at the beginning of the healing journey!!

My desire has always been to do my best to provide as many tools as possible to help my life coaching clients to be able to reach their goals – and now I have another amazingly powerful tool to help them to learn the key to lasting change: Psych K balances are movement or posture-based activities that are used to reprogram the subconscious mind.

Why is it called a balance?

When we have been through stress or trauma – we tend to over identify with one side of our brain – usually the right (or emotional side). Stuck in right brain hyperactivity leaves us with a heightened state of anxiety or fear, hair trigger fight or flight, inability to relax, unable to concentrate, depressed and feeling out of control of ourselves.

A psych k balance is called a balance because the movements or posture-based activities, balance both hemispheres of your brain so that you reach a whole-brain state. Neuroscience has proven that whole-brain states have the ability to turn the corpus callosum from a wall that divides the left and right hemispheres of the brain, into a bridge that connects them and allows them to communicate in a way that helps change limiting beliefs and perceptions lodged deep within your subconscious mind.

Are you ready to remove limiting beliefs that have been holding you back or causing you to repeat unhealthy patterns in your life?

Question: Is there any scientific research aboutPSYCH-K®?

Answer: Yes! In addition to years of research in the field of what is usually referred to as split-brain research, which began in the late 1950’s, a contemporary study regarding PSYCH-K® specifically, was published in 2011. The study was conducted using contemporary, neuro-scientific protocols. The point of the study was to determine if the Whole-Brain Posture, used extensively in PSYCH-K, could in fact create the desired bi-lateral, symmetrical, brainwave pattern that is desired for changing subconscious beliefs. In the fall of 2011, the results were published in three peer-reviewed journals, including the fields of neuroscience, psychotherapy, and business management.

It’s important to understand that all living things have an electromagnetic field, a signature or fingerprint of life, that is unique to itself. Certain materials which are inanimate, such as crystals like quartz or silica, or metals such as copper have conductive properties; meaning that they can carry energy and information through them. That’s why electrical wires in our homes are made of copper, to conduct electrical energy into our homes.

Well, our brains are also conductive, as well as our whole bodies. We have a central nervous system that runs through our tissues, as well as fluids like blood and lymphatic fluids that carry not just chemical and electrical information, but also electromagnetic information. Muscle testing (kinesiology) uses this principal to allow us to communicate with our body and perceive what is happening, similar to the way an MRI uses functional magnetic resonance to do the same.

Physics tells us that we exist in a quantum universe, and that we are all united by the principles that order the universe, as well as the forces that act within it, including electrical energetic transfer, or electromagnetism. This conclusion is quantum coherence. Understanding these quantum mechanics helps us to understand how energy medicine is so effective.

What  is energy medicine? When I talk about energy medicine – I’m referring to using natural energy rather than chemistry or surgery to assist the body in healing itself. While energy and informational medicine is a fairly new topic for many, the truth is that it is a field in constant growth and can only be expected to continue to grow and become more and more common with time.
